I pray that one day we will live on a planet where no one will condemned because of their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender, the color of their skin, nor any other "label" or "characteristic" used to separate or place judgement on innocent people by society. Perhaps 2014 will bring us closer to that goal in the hearts and minds of everyone. To obtain this goal however we will also have to work on ourselves.
As I have stated before:
Nothing lasts forever; nor will you live forever. Make a conscious choice to refuse to follow the impulses of fear, anger and revenge. We all need a repeated discipline within us, a genuine training to let go our old habits of mind and to find and sustain a new way of seeing and understanding. At the end of the day, We are all the same in our dreams, goals, and the desire to love.
The greatest moment of our lives is when we release fear; do not judge other people..... instead learn from each other and increase your understanding of life. I also give thanks to God for ALL OF YOU; you bring genuine joy to my life and nothing makes me happier knowing that I could help someone though Kentucky Equality Federation and now, also, through the goals of the Southeastern Kentucky Brigade of Kentucky Colonels. I will always fight to the end, and I see nothing bitter about that.
